The New Dealers invited one industry after another to write the codes under which they would be regulated(as they had been begging to do in many cases).
It was not only inevitable but INTENDED FOR BIG BUSINESS to GET BIGGER and the LITTLE GUY TO GET SCREWED.
The owners of the big chain movie houses wrote the codes in such a way that independents were nearly RUN OUT of BUSINESS, even though 13,571 of the 18,321 movie theaters in America were independently owned.
In BUSINESS AFTER BUSINESS, the LITTLE GUY was CRUSHED OR AT LEAST SEVERELY DISADVANTAGED in the NAME of ‘EFFICIENCY’ and ‘PROGRESS’”
UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES and “CON” – GOVERNMENT “ANTI-TRUST” POLICIES MEANT to PREVENT “MONOPOLY” ACTUALLY PROTECTED MONOPOLIES …
The “New Deal “principle” seemed to be: to him that HATH it shall be GIVEN”.
The GOVERNMENT-BUSINESS “COMPLEX” COLLUDED to PICK “WINNERS and LOSERS” …
The RESULT: state monopoly on power, “EXPLOITATION” of BOTH “the PEOPLE” (Main Street) and “BIG BUSINESS” (Wall Street)

The “fascist” reality– federal inspection of meat was established at the meat packers request.

Federal Meat inspection became a marketing tool and LIMITER AGAINST COMPETITION.
Small firm butchers were forced to endure onerous compliance costs … while large firms could more easily absorb the inspection costs and claim their products were superior to “uncertified” meats.
Fascist economics is ANTI-“FREE MARKET”, NOT LAISSEZ FAIRE economics – “CRONY CAPITALISM”
“DO-GOOD” legislation empowers large firms, ENTWINES them with government and become barriers to smaller companies
